Co-Editor(s)-In-Chief (2 positions)
In charge of overseeing the entirety of Her Campus UToronto and is the primary contact of the chapter. Responsible for recruitment of writers and replacement executives, monitoring writer submissions, and executive role fulfilments. Plans annual events. Contributes as editor within editorial team. Experience on Her Campus or other publication is required. Commitment is 10-15 hours a week and starts April 2018.
Marketing Director (1 position)
In charge of promotion of the chapter such as postering, creating events, and collaborating with other campus groups. Create and execute marketing campaigns to drive readership and increase community involvement. Distribute marketing materials throughout the campus. Promote Her Campus University of Toronto at university and community events. Work closely with the Social Media and Sponsorship Directors to plan promotional events. Understanding of obtaining funding from entities such as ULife and booking venues on campus recommended. Commitment dependent on event and promotion schedule and starts April 2018.
Treasurer (1 position)
In charge of overseeing Her Campus UToronto’s budget. Understanding of obtaining funding from entities such as ULife and how to use Excell recommended. Ensure that a yearly budget plan/sheet is created and constantly updated. Take the lead on all finance-related activities within the executive committee. Create financial plans for major events and initiatives. Commitment dependent on when funding needs to be submitted and event schedule and starts April 2018.
Social Media Director (2-3 positions)
In charge of Her Campus UToronto’s social media on Facebook and Twitter (Instagram as well if photographer(s) are not hired). Drive traffic and inform the University of Toronto community about HC events. Will be expected to post on each social media platform once a day (NOTE: does not include reposts/retweets). Commitment is 2-4 hours a week and starts August 2018.
Logistics Director (1 position)
In charge of creating the bi-weekly writer schedule. Understanding of Google Docs, Excel, and Her Campus content requirements recommended. Work closely with the Editors-in-Chief and the Campus Correspondents to coordinate writers. Will be expected to make a writer schedule on a bi-weekly schedule (schedule every other week) and adjust the schedule in case of scheduling conflicts to maintain Her Campus requirements. Commitment is 2-4 hours a week and starts August 2018.
Editor (4-5 positions)
In charge of overseeing Her Campus UToronto’s editing and publishing schedule for the week they are assigned (frequency dependent on size of editorial team). Experience writing under Her Campus and understanding of Google Docs and Her Campus website recommended. Commitment is 2-4 hours a week and starts August 2018. Besides filling out the nomination form, please also make sure to submit a writing sample when applying –– this can be anything academic or non-academic that best illustrates your writing abilities. In charge of all media, graphics, and advertisement for Her Campus UToronto. Experience working with design software (i.e Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc) highly recommended. In charge of photography for Her Campus UToronto, including events and running the instagram. Will be expected to post on instagram 3-5 days a week and be available to photograph for events. Full time and part-time writer recruitment will begin on a rolling basis post-election.
