Why is it that unfettered economic growth in a finite world leads to crisis?
Join Leap UofT for a discussion with Professor Brett Caraway on the ecological repercussions of economic activity. Professor Caraway will draw on a variety of sociopolitical theories to look at the relationship between technological innovation and contemporary ecological destabilization.
After the talk, everyone who comes will have the opportunity to participate in our ongoing creation, a local, campus version of the Leap Manifesto!
This will also be an opportunity to learn about Leap UofT’s current campaign, fossil fuel divestment. Check out the divestment petition here:
