Little Library: Sharing Knowledge, Empowering Students

Welcome to the Little Library

At the Little Library, we’re committed to fostering a culture of collaboration, academic excellence, and accessibility within the University of Toronto community. Our mission is simple: to provide a platform where students can share and exchange textbooks, promoting inclusivity and reducing the financial burden of course materials. Explore below to learn more about the Little Library and how you can get involved.

Why the Little Library?

The high cost of textbooks and course materials can be a significant obstacle for students striving for academic success. Our goal is to alleviate this burden by creating a platform where you can donate and borrow textbooks, fostering a supportive and engaged student community.

Mission and Vision

We envision a university where all students have equal access to educational resources. Our mission is to empower students by facilitating a mutual aid textbook exchange, promoting academic success, and building a stronger sense of community.

How it Works

Have a textbook you no longer need? Donate it to the Little Library and help fellow students access the resources they need to succeed.

Need a textbook for your next course? Browse our collection and borrow the materials you require, all at no cost.

Our Little Library operates on a barter system. When you donate a textbook, you gain access to choose another book from our collection.

Making an Impact

By participating in the Little Library, you’re not only saving money on textbooks – you’re contributing to a sustainable and inclusive learning environment for all students.
