UTSU Lunch Lift
The UTSU Lunch Lift Program replaces the previously offered Food Rescue Program, and is supported in part by the generous donation of The Sprott Foundation.
UTSU Lunch Lift will run weekly on Tuesdays this winter from 12pm–1:30pm in the Student Commons, Community Kitchen (Room 329), at 230 College Street.
This is an initiative to address food insecurity on campus by providing prepared frozen food to University of Toronto students in need. This service provides support to current students. Supplies are limited and will be distributed on a first come first serve basis, one meal per person.
Students can come pick up a meal for lunch and socialize with other fellow students in one of our student lounges. Microwaves are available in the third floor kitchens and second and fifth floor lounge areas. In an effort to support sustainability, we kindly suggest that you bring your own cutlery.
The Lunch Lift service is closed for 2025–26. We will resume the service in Fall 2026.
When:
12 pm – 1:30 pm every Tuesday
Where:
Community Kitchen Room 329 – Student Commons (230 College St., Huron St. entrance)
