On Thursday this week our President Marie and VP Public and University Affairs Nadege hosted an intimate but informative event about transit advocacy with the support of our VP Equity Juan! We spoke with students about their daily experiences and struggles with transit and what we can do about it together. The group learned how to advocate to city council through budget consultations and deputations and brainstormed how to take action in simple but meaningful ways.
